burfi

Have you seen my other blog - Burfila - ?

19 March 2007

first in the series of cricket related ones

there have been world cups and there have been major upsets but this seems to be a particularly unhappy one. i was shocked when pakistan crashed out but was not sad; i am sad because woolmer died. he was a huge talent. the other day i was having a chat with johny about cricket being at the losing end. cricket lost something invaluable today. and the worst part being the way it did.

no matter which team wins now, no matter how much money people make or loose, no matter how many half-nude firangans dance on those sixes, the joy has been marred for this one. i won't want to trivialise this post about bob and cricket thus i would stop now

and would write about the firangans and the boobs in cricket field in maybe the post later than this one.

  • To me, cricket is about a bunch of friends sitting around the tv set - laughing, joking and sharing moments.

That, vodka, peanuts and occasional glimpses of mandira bedi :P

  • @ anony....
While you are free to comment the way you want, I would like to know if this is an english correction forum?

I feel if you are on a page, you should be appreciative of the content and not the grammer or whatever...

    # burf...
And you are sorry too... great...

    About the post...
I feel that this should not have happened... I personally like the pakistani team for their spirit... it would have been fun to see them around....

whatever happened to the Coach is really unfortunate... and I am so sad that this cannot be reversed...
