burfi

Have you seen my other blog - Burfila - ?

12 March 2007

do i still love you?

if you still read this blog, which you still do and i know you do, it is just that you do not comment lest i know that i do, i have to ask do you think that i still love you?

you don't come and meet me and you don't come out when i call you, you are busy and you pretend to ignore, but you still long more and more, and i have to ask do you think that i still love you?

you flirt with me and you play but you don't take your name, you laugh and you never say no, but you don't even say yes no more, wonder if you think that i still love you?

your voice was different but your words were not, did you say it or did i hear it, but it was big and it was loud, anyways it was your sound and i heard that you think that i still love you

  • yeahh...n i read yer perception on feminism.sorry to say but i think b4 makin a case u needto argue it out convincingly.you are right about each having a part in the social machinery of one's time.but not at the cost of being opressed, slandered and totally banished from public life.till recently u mustv noted women were prohibited from enterin the public domain lest their 'chastity' be stained.instruments for male sexual purgation and bearing children. and that u say was suppose to satisfy women??

    i rest my case now.hope u get d idea.

  • satan - i never was speaking about if whatever men are doing are doing right. i was saying what i thought was the strict purpose as delegated by the nature to each

and not satisfy men or women but satisfy the requirements laid out by the need of equilibrium

mymyself - it did??? please help me understand it too, he he

aqua - you are most welcome

  • delegated by nature?? since wen did nature start speakin?or r u sayin upper class white patriarchy 'naturalised' this 'gender roles' ? bcos dats wat happened n thru d politics of religious texts dat formed d axle of civilizations worldwide, appropriated these roles to suit themselves. so well u cm o have internalised convention, instead of tryinna question it....think about it n ull understand.... its gross really. n yea u rit bout d du thing.

  • satan - i don't think u really 'read' what i wrote baby. i reiterated here what i stated there and the reasoning was analysed. pls read it again sometimes when you are not being crushed under the self-inflicted responsibility of keeping the kingdom of feminism flag uptight ;)

  • in opposition wat to u 'like' to believe, i read d whole thing 'baby'(it repulses me wen ppl use this wrd as an outlet fer their sarcasm )...n ya i think u needto get yer facts right regardin feminism big tym.... wat u say coms across as uninformed babel :). naw n i don need to shoulder 'responsibility' fer sumfin as trivial as this.. yer views will reform wid ytm n maturity...ahem ahem...i hav a feelin this aint d end of a brainstormin session on feminism.in any case wenever u feel lik learnin about it wid a receptive mind, ask me :).i m helpful by nature.

  • the beauty of a word baby is that you never know if it was sarcastic or complimentary ;)

lol, which "facts"? i would sure like to have a look at the "facts" you have and would prove otherwise... i guess that would be the end of debate on feminism and the end of xillions of you-know-which magazine

and by looking at your counter-comments, i thought that you are alexander by nature ;)
