where the basis is internet

internet initiated romance is not always good

the problem with a relationship that starts on internet is that you really don't know weather you would really like the physical aspects of the person you are getting deep with. in the conventional approach, you don't even get into a conversation with the person if he/she looks like an oger to you, let alone getting deep. and in this internet way, it is like the fish-bone stuck in your throat. infact it is much worse. you can't let go the virtual person and can't take the real thing.

there is this one of those guys i supervise. he wasn't paying attention, wasn't his sharp self since last week. and i knew that he don't have career or departmental related issues. so sensing it has to be a girl [another element of nature which is responsible for 83.699% misery on planet earth] i took a detour. instead of confronting him, i asked other juniors about the matter. they told me that after a dozen virtual dates, the gladiator went to met up in real. and thus is the reason for his mutilated lips and screwed up disposition. apparently the female ogers have concentrated h2so4 laced lips, lol :D

and this is not the solo case. infact females are more at loss in this internet business. guys don't show their faces until and unless they take the masks off in real. and it is such tragic. the same thing happened to a female friend of mine last year. too bad she had to come back teary eyed.

btw,
do any of you know when is the mother's day?

and can any of you suggest me any good mother's day gifts?

this time i think i should play a part of good son and gift mom something :D infact, i am a good son but i think i should do something so that i can brag about it as well ;)

  • It's not just the looks aspect.
    People are different when chatting/emailing.
The mode of chatting/emailing is different - everything gets more pronounced when you write it down.
    It's not how one speaks.
While chatting, one tends to write first (just to fill in the silences) and think later, because internet silences are awkward.

  • Internet romances r way too common and I hate to admit, fake.

Like u mentioned, u wouldnt really know until u meet that person in real, whether u'll like him/her or not at all. Not cos of the looks but everything else that's obvious after interacting in real with that person.

**apparently the female ogers have concentrated h2so4 laced lips, lol

    I didnt get that...what did u mean? H2SO4 acid? :)

  • Well honestly I think its a little foolish to fall in love with someone online. I agree with what Cowlick said... people are very different when they chat or email.

  • hey ....

right u r ... but i know a couple who got married .. they gotta know each other thru a chat room ...

i dislike chat rooms .. never enter them ..

and abt ur qn on the birds ... well, nature demands that a bird build a comfy nest for its chick .. and it just that ... then, when the chicks are big , nature demands that they let go , and they do exactly that ...

every single thing on this planet follows the laws of nature except us humans !

  • am such a non-trusting person that it would be practically impossible for me to fall in love over the net or with a snap!...
Honestly I really find it difficult to imagine how people actually seriously fall in love thru the net..its one of those mysteries to me!
