a little cycle called life
i got up at 6 today for the 1st time
in this year 2006 :D
If you are inquisitive enough to ask 'why', please contact om at om's official email addresses :D
the point is, there is this couple who are making their home. i mean this sparrow couple who are making their nest in this alcove formed by the bundle of wires precariously dangling over our electricity meter.
now today i saw that this female [the she-sparrow] was pretty agitated over something and this guy was doing this once-in-a-23-hours chirp sitting a bit distant from the nest on a wire. i really don't know what was the deal but i was getting concerned. so i called mom out and asked what could the reason be. as expected, mom didn't know and went back in asking me to let them be.
that was the exact moment when i thought that we humans can't ever let things be. i mean these sparrows make nests every spring. and then they lay eggs and then after the kids are good enough to fly off, they let them be. they never stick around with the kids, not even with partners [i guess]. don't these guys have emotions. if they don't then why do they feed their kids till they are good enough to fly, or why do they make such comfortable nests or why do they even stick around after good few night stands?
a bit complicated, can anyone simplify?

Stop playing tricks :p
And animals have shorter memory span than humans. So they can let go of children more easily...
