a trip to the snowed land
i wanted to write. i had something in mind when i turned the ignition of my car on in the morning which is lingering somewhere on the periphery of my thoughts but now i want to write about something that has taken up my thought process. and that is the trip to manali. with approaching moment of departure it is getting all the more sure that i will finally be going. manu & company has traditionally known to be the prime source of this uncertainity :)
anyways, one thing is am looking forward to is the snow. it hasn't still been as cold as it is in this time of the year [month, season] but it is kind of getting better. it was heavy fog hanging over the brown patch of boundried land that they call park [but unruly cricket playing kids are bent of shaping it otherwise] facing my home, in the morning when i woke up. the last and the only time i saw snow was in the last week of 1997 in shimla. it was an amazing trip. a whole essay could easily be dedicated to its narration. i did write an article for the college magazine too.
