not so exciting but beautiful weekend

winter seem to have arrived and seems to be making up for the late coming. its chilly and its beautiful. the sun is shining but isn't much warming. ideal days for doing anything - working, traveling, dating, fucking, reading or simply doing nothing :D

nice weekend started with a nice movie. there seems to be a visible effort on the part of those seated high in mgm that they want to see a change in the bond's critics' attitude of "you've seen one, you've seen 'em all. they want change too - and they are trying to the seep it in with bond's appearance, his attitude and his aptitude. his response towards love too. of course, craig isn't able to match brosnan's finesse but i am sure brosnan could never have justified the awe inspiring stunt ridden opening scene of the password-chase in some african country. sad thing is that they edited apparently very sexy vesper's body at pvr. am looking forward to see the scene somehow... if someone has the unedited cd - please forward :D

beautiful saturday morning went with the usual banking and stuff stuff. evening wasted though, for the lack for someone as sexy as vesper.

it was, back to back beautiful, sunday morning when i went along with ankur to watch - the departed. ticket was just 75 bucks. prashant wanted to see the movie too but apparently sadly he was busy. the movie ate almost 3 hours and i thought it was usual 90 minutes fare but was pretty surprised to see 180 minutes passed without a hint. jack nicholson was usually great, matt damon was subtle, leo cap was good but mark wahlberg was very good. he was the arshad warsi of the movie - best dialogues with little fuss. movie had some zero stunt but hugely exciting scenes. the movie is a collector's item [i found couple of blunders in the movie, one of which i still remember - if he was undercover police operative then why did he threw queenan out of the window]. best part of the movie being wahlberg's abuses and madolyn's well suited panties for her sculpted buns.

sunday evening went fooling around with prashant - forgot to buy gazzac [call me if you don't understand that ;) ]
