pre-diwali celebrations

today amid all the pre-diwali celebrations, some families must have had something to really rejoice about. in fact today india had some judicial decision to rejoice about for days to come. the accused was convicted in priyadarshani matto case. everybody knows who raped and murdered her and then got acquitted too by the lower court. thank God, my country does have some sparks left which might lead the fire.

i ain't reading much these days. being online doesn't really help. in fact it is an indication that you are expecting something which is wrong.

a new kind of mat was brought home today. it has been transported from assam, i was told. and it looks and feels cool. i saw one such mat in sandy's place, i guess.
