The other day somebody was telling me that researchers in US have deduced that most people in India are highly lactose intolerant.
Then I went on to understand what Lactose Intolerance is and I found it very funny when I found out what it is. I mean it is funny, looking at the way dudh is always considered as a part of our tradition, to term us as lactose intolerant.

I t could be true as we do consume a lot of milk and milk products and many people alongside the consumption do have problems with indigestion ,upset stomach etc etc but they never ever suspect it could be due to milk as they think they have grown up always consuming it and could not be intolerant to it,and intolerance here only means the ability of the enzyme required for breaking the lactose down, to work or not!! ntohing to do with tradition!!
