rafting trip
i was getting bored and i wanted to write a memoir..abt my trip, so i thought why not kill the boring time by writing about one of the most interesting things that happened in last 1 month :D
after having the plan cancelled for least 3 times, twice of them in the past and one supposed to materialize in future, i was kinda desperate about making it a reality this time alto i wont say without any real deep apprehensions about the river-rafting conditions...yea river-rafting :D
promised mom that i wont do it if the water levels are too dangerous and left pop to be talked into not getting too angry about it by her (he wouldnt' have anyways got vocal about it even if too angry...) finally left for Prashant'shome, its has kind of become a starting point of our small nice-times outstation :D. took a white line and headed to the bus adda, were amazed to see the number of buses leaving for Rishikesh, and looking at the quantity of the crowd in them, i wondered if we would get a seat abroad one of them and then on the rafts that i was dreaming about :D. anyways, we waited for a push-back(deluxe) kinds which never landed on the bus adda, hence got into one of the local buses. the seats were better and here is where we Indians have edge over other travelers cuz we can find reasons of considering the very thing we've just criticized like hell to be comfortable enuf for us to take our destination without forgetting the power naps that we very leisurely were able to take.
we reached Haridwar at dawn and it was so refreshingly cool, cuz Ganga was as much in air as on land...and the sight of it took my whole dizziness away. i guess it wasnt just sight but the smell the sound the air the water ...all those elements that make up that place Haridwar and helps you find the justification of it being called the final resting place...
slapped Prashant's shin to get him out of his stupid made-up slumber which he anywyas was not getting into and ask him to have a look at Ganga. and then we started waiting to reach Rishikesh. once in Rishikesh, we took an auto to reach the place where all the rafting shops are. after getting into a deal we went ahead looking to answer nature's call...
..i guess this memoir is too boring and isnt doing even a bit of justification to the kind of fun we had, thus i would be continuing it later...hopefully...
